The rules

Any chef caught talking to ChatGPT will be sent home. You know more than you think you do, and if you're struggling, your head chef has your back.

This is the French Brigade system. You must refer to your fellow chefs as "chef". You must follow instructions. Insubordination will earn you time washing dishes.

Chefs, please use your pre-frontal cortex. Don't touch raw meat and then make salad. Setting fire to the restaurant is strictly forbidden.

Your head chef will be inspecting stations AT ANY TIME. If you get caught with a dirty station, expect to do some time in the dish pit.

Do I need any special skills?

No chef. We'll make sure you're on a station that matches your cooking skills. You'll also learn a lot and gain a lot of confidence.

Can I come with friends?

Yes chef. Bring some friends and you'll be put on a station with them. Or come on your own and meet new people. Except for the head chef, everyone is really friendly.

What are we actually doing?

You'll get there at 10:00 and we'll have a briefing on the rules. Then you'll be given your ingredients, assigned a station and let loose. At 12:30 sharp, service starts and we'll eat what we've just cooked.

What do I bring?

You must wear a white top. Other than that, ingredients and equipment will be provided. Bring a water bottle if you like, or you can order bubble tea at the restaurant.
